About the Author
Ulrica Norberg is the author of several books, including Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, and Yin Yoga. A highly respected yoga instructor around the world, she has been teaching for nearly twenty years and has trained more than five hundred teachers. She has done extensive studies in yoga, alignment principles, anatomy, and energetics. In 2002 she discovered yin yoga through Paulie Zink and has since studied with Sarah Powers and Paul Grilley. She has also embraced restorative yoga as a complement to more vigorous practices. She took her restorative training with Mona Anand and Gina Menza and learned the ISHTA approach through them. Ulrica is known for her deep knowledge and for her inspirational and warm approach. She lives in Sweden.

I ordered this book to learn the moves and poses. Unfortunately all the pictures with poses are 1 inch in size and all the pictures of the author staring out into space or pictures of the bottom of her feet are full page. I don't know who edited this book, but it is more of a promotion of her modeling then restorative yoga. I only gave it 2 stars because she has some good 1 inch pictures. Don't buy this book if you want to be able to actually see how the poses are suppose to be done.
This book is a beautiful read with wonderful pictures, however, I was looking for a book focused on postures and flows for instructors. I would consider this book more for a beginner of restorative yoga with an at-home practice. I should have read the other reviews before I purchased it.

This is a lovely book about yoga and how it moves you into more positive directions. The restorative poses are short, but well described. I consider it a great companion book the Judith Hanson Lasater's Relax and Renew.
