If you have these books, you know what they are.

Had everything in it that I needed. It is inconvenient that Amazon doesn't post the table of contents in the description but there are other reviewers that do and websites you can go to. Bottom line the Music Theatre Anthology series is awesome and a must for any teacher or student. Get the CDs, they are worth the extra money :)

This is one of my favorites of the SMTA books. There are some very nice songs in this volume.

This whole series is great for singer. These books have a great selection of songs from fantastic shows. These books feature small blurbs about each show that is in the book. One of my favorite parts about these books is that the songs are taken straight out of the show in their original keys.

I looked all over for "The Music That Makes Me Dance" from Funny Girl - found severl on line to download but none were the one we wanted. I can't tell you how happy I was to find this book with the song EXACTLY as it should be! Challenging piece, but in the end my accompanist and I were thrilled to achieve the goal of performing the song! Many great selections in this book - oldies but goodies for sure. Classics and then some! Perfect for your collection. Very pleased with the contents, the condition and the seller!

However I was reading parts of it and really dont wish to give her a book that says "sex is ok if you feel you are ready for it." There is no right or wrong answer to whether or not you should have sex? I dont agree. There is a right answer. You are 16. You are not ready for sex.

When doing homework assignments, studying for exams or the qualifying exam itself, most graduate students should be elated to have an arsenal of solved problems at their disposal. I have purchased nearly every one of these books and I use them often. The biggest books (mechanics, quantum, and E&M) are fantastic resources for qualifier problems and examples. When I show these books to my fellow students, they immediately ask me where they can get a copy of their own.One criticism: The index is sparse. It seems as though many problems are not listed under obvious key words. However, I have a suggestion for those that are also frustrated by this. Whenever I encounter an interesting problem, I go into the index and look under all of the obvious key words. If the problem is not listed, I add the problem number to the index in that spot. In all of my copies of these books, I am creating a comprehensive index. It takes time, but it is almost instructive to do this editing for it makes one more familiar with the book.One other thing: I haven't found many errors, but I have found a few. Usually they are not apparent until one is working through the little details of a problem.If you are a student in physics, I suggest that you get your hands on these books.

As a first year PhD student about to take my qualifying exam, I can’t say would be this prepared for my classical exam portion without this book. I highly recommend. I can totally see myself using this for a problem source when I start teaching in the near future.

This is by far, in my opinion, the best book for Mechanics. I was looking for a cheap, good book. And what I got, is simply THE BEST! There were alot of examples...explanations, etc.. And best of all, written by 27 Physicists?? How's that for a personal tutor who charges app. [...]???

Vuong’s work is so amazing, I wrote my 10 page MFA paper on his unique use of poetry’s pleasure principles—structure, wild yet functional metaphors, variety of subject matter, various expressions of humanity (particularly human suffering and human love), wisdom and thought-provoking phrases, and vivid descriptions. BUY THIS BOOK! You WILL not regret it. I loved the kindle version so much, I want to buy it again in print so I can go around showing it to everyone. Vuong has raised the bar for good contemporary poets and I shudder to aspire to his creative genius. Seriously, buy this book.

I read Ocean Vuong’s poem in The New Yorker one morning, and it stopped my day. He writes in a deeply affecting way about his experiences — about sadness, beauty, family and war — and despite having little in common with him, his words make me feel like we have everything in common. The beauty of his poetry is its universality, despite being based on his very specific life experiences. I’ve read Night Sky with Exit Wounds, as well as anything else Vuong I can find. This is a book you’ll re-read all of the time. I was a lit major in school and have read endless amounts of poetry, but Ocean Vuong is my favorite poet.

Really a transcendent collection from a poet with incredible attention to form and language. I reach for this book often; for inspiration, for emotion, and just to feel the energy Vuong's words vibrate with.

I bought this book for a literature course. Let me begin by saying that, even though I'm a literature major, I'm not a huge fan of poetry. Ocean Vuong has such a beautiful way with words. His poetry drew me in from page one. He combines historical events (the Vietnam war, the assasination of JFK, even Jeffrey Dahmer's murders) with ideas of what it means to be gay in America. It is definitely worth a read.

Ocean Vuong's book of poetry is a fine work of a poet of note. The ease of which his writing appears is refreshing, a struggle and a peace of mind. The rest of the work is outstanding, the perspectives new and delicious. The multiple senses he "sees" the world is subtle and rewarding. Ocean Vuong is a poet to watch. Watch like a hawk. --ABH
